Dr. Janelle Bicknell, does a lot to give back to her community. She, along with her two assistants, Sandra and Christina head up the Rotary International Dental Sealant Program here in Grand Prairie. This program gives dental sealants to every second and seventh grader that qualify in Grand Prairie Independent School District. Dr. Bicknell has expanded her dental program to include Granada, Nicaragua where she leads Rotarians and non-Rotarians to provide dental care to under served young people in and around Granada.
To date the Dental Seal Program for GPISD has delivered more than $2 million and more than $500,000 of acute dental care in Nicaragua.
